Brandon A. Godfrey

Growing up in Menlo Park, California, Brandon’s musical aptitude became an influential tailgate to 80’s jazz and experimental electronic genres. His music endeavors in electronic sound production begin with Art of Noise, DJ Shadow, Paul van Dyk, and Photek—these musicians were marquee talents that later ignited Brandon toward performing live, as a deejay.

"I absolutely love deejaying; it’s a growing thrill. Each venue presents a different vibe and a unique experience. I find it incredibly fascinating to work and play with it musically. One significant and enthralling aspect about being a deejay is that every performance is an experience anew. However, creating music anew is my true passion."

In late 2001, Brandon invited the art of deejaying to his music production realm. In early 2002, he began spinning a plethora of electronic music in local party, concert, and club events throughout Northwest America. From minimal to drum & bass, his atmospheric, intelligent, and melodic sounds remained similar across electronic subgenres.

"My recent trancer, "Save Me God," has received massive support and co-production by B.E.N. and major playout by J00F (John‘00‘Fleming), two of London’s trance music heroes. Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, and Markus Schulz have placed "Save Me God" into their Top 10 picks. Witnessing others feel what I feel and play what I make in the studio is exhilarating. I enjoy sharing this love and feeling through the art of production (even more so than deejaying)."

As a producer, Brandon focuses on transforming the electronic progressive genre. Deeply immersed with Asian percussion and big drum sounds, he coalesces intelligent drum & bass elements and progressive tech-trance. As a deejay, he focuses on providing a consistent direction in experimental electronic music and a production piece in his live performances.
